A professor at the University of South Florida, Dominic D’Agostino focuses on ketone technologies, including the science and application of ketogenic diets, ketone esters and ketone salt supplementation. His focus has included the muscle adaptive response to a low-carb, ketogenic diet and how this can maximize body composition alterations in favor of performance optimization. A veteran researcher of KetoNutrition, he has led a number of clinical teams and projects. Dominic D’Agostino is also active in his professional community and has been on the organizing committee of events such as the Metabolic Health Summit (MHS).

Hosted over three days, the 2022 edition of the MHS is being held in Santa Barbara, California, in early May. Organized under the Metabolic Health Initiative (MHI) It brings together leading researchers and practitioners of ketogenic therapy. At the same time the expo showcases leading-edge food, supplementation, and health technology brands.

From “success narratives” to scientific poster sessions, the MHS event immerses participants in an expanding field of academic research that also offers commercial, revenue-generating opportunities. The 2022 agenda also includes symposiums on metabolic therapies for neurological disorders, COVID, and cancer. In addition, there are meetups for professionals, from registered dietitian nutritionists to entrepreneurs. To round off the event, a Gala Dinner will raise funds for the Charlie Foundation and the MaxLove Project. For more information go to https://metabolichealthsummit.com/
